Regular Slotted Cartons (RSC)

Uses: Dairy sector, soap and oil cartons, alcohol industry, sweet and confectionary products.

Structure

The most common box style. Highly efficient design for many applications. All flaps are the same length, and the two outer flaps (normally the lengthwise flaps) are one-half the container’s width, so that they meet at the centre of the box when closed by either glue or tape.

Lifespan

FMCGs have a short shelf life because of high consumer demand (e.g., soft drinks, soap, oil and confections) or because they are perishable (e.g., meat, dairy products, and baked goods). These goods are purchased frequently, are consumed rapidly, they also have a high turnover when they’re on the shelf at the store.
